Remember this beautiful couple? My most favorite bride and groom of 2008. Okay, my only bride and groom, but they were still wonderful to work with. They totally helped me rethink weddings. Therefore, I'll be taking on a few weddings in 2009, very few, so get the word out.
Anyway, I shot Guy and Ashley's "Day After" Session last week. IT TOTALLY ROCKED!
These next two photos make me smile. Not sure why. I can even hear my mom already; she's going to look at these and be all, "Sara they look so sad and stoic." I know. Still like 'em though.
There was a big group for this session, but I'm going to focus on the girls for this post. Particularly the music pastor at our church, aka mom to the above children. She's a pastor I call friend as well. She's incredibly gifted and keeps pulling more talents from her hat every time I'm with her. I didn't even know about the guitar playing until she arrived with it for some photos. Yep, she can do that too.
She's got a great man by her side. He's our kids' pastor, so I appreciate him greatly as well.
Now a few of the girls.....
Susan is a talented photographer in the Michigan area. When she contacted me to photograph her family while I was up north, I was honored. I sure hope I came through for you girl!
I just returned from a successful photo trip to Michigan. The weather could not have been better to shoot in, the crispness in the air and the sun shining. I love Michigan in the fall.
My pro bono project, AKA my sister's engagement session, was the last of my shoots while traveling. It will however be the first post because she nags the loudest. When I returned home on Monday evening she was the first phone call I received. Not to see if I arrived safely, but to see if I'd posted the pictures yet.
They are a beautiful couple and I am looking forward to shooting their wedding next year.
Nice job keeping your eyes open Josh. You're becoming a pro and this modeling thing.
Oh, and one more thing..... I have a new addition to my face that I picked up in my travels. Something I've been wanting to do for awhile.
One of my cousins from Michigan has a couple nieces that live in Atlanta. My cousin gave a photo session by Sara Anthony Photography as a gift to her nieces.
Despite the toasty GA temps we had a blast!! I don't want to keep my cousin waiting any longer, so I'm posting a few pix for her to see.
COMMERICAL: SMAPIX Gift Cards are a great gift idea and oh so easy to wrap!!
